Role: Project/Product Manager- Legal Technology 

Location: Bengaluru North, Karnataka 


  • Own, lead, and document complex projects and initiatives, deliver on objectives, milestones, and highly sought after solutions, manage sponsors and stakeholders with competing priorities, resourcing levels and time constraints across all typical project phases:
    • Project initiation and scoping, including definition of plans, schedule, risk, issues, decisions, interdependencies, setting and managing realistic expectations for successful delivery with project stakeholders
    • Business analysis and requirements definition
    • Designing and implementing testing, in particular user acceptance testing
    • Ongoing project management, continual improvement and quality assurance throughout
  • Coordinate, document, and lead quality project meetings including providing agendas, meeting minutes, and providing stakeholders updates of meeting outcomes where appropriate
  • Build and facilitate relationships among and between key project stakeholders
  • Provide hands on support and advice re: project management tools, reporting and methodologies
  • Work with team leads to track and forecast resourcing and demand at an initiative / team level
  • Anticipate and manage enhancement requirements, understand product pipeline and release cadence
  • Evaluate and streamline business processes, identify areas for improvement, risk mitigation, reducing control issues, and generating efficiencies
  • Create, maintain, and apply implementation and support best practices, lessons learned and reusuable run books

Product Management

  • Manage and coordinate new product and enhancement roll-outs to ensure that new features and benefits are understood by end-users
  • Actively manage the product backlog and continuously account for emerging priorities
  • Conduct demos and workshops with users across the firm to increase application adoption and understand stakeholder needs
  • Evangelize and act as an ambassador for content management solutions and as a contact for inbound queries
  • Manage firm-wide communications and marketing for content management solutions at GS
  • Work with leadership teams to define expansion opportunities for content management solutions within GS and longer-term strategic vision
  • Keep abreast of market developments in the enterprise content management space


  • Ideal candidate would possess one or more professional project management certifications e.g. PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe® 4 Agilist
  • Knowledge and/or experience of OKR frameworks and how they are used in the delivery of technology products
  • Knowledge of content management products and workflows related to the financial or legal services industry would be an advantage, as is related experience in technology strategy or in a client service or business function and/or management consulting
  • Experience with data visualization applications (e.g., Qlik and Tableau)

Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral; confident in interaction with and able to influence senior stakeholders
  • Self-directed, strategic thinker able to identify and analyze cross functional issues, provide innovative solutions, and communicate the implications of solutions across existing processes, systems and teams, e.g. costs, risk, service
  • Commitment to excellence, a high level of integrity and personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time with a high degree of quality
  • Experience managing an entire product’s lifecycle, from conception to launch
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with user and engineering peers for project and product success
  • Ability to say no appropriately, to convince users of an alternative
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point, Project, Visio, SharePoint & JIRA
