Job Role: Analyst- Legal Research

Location: Gurugram

PQE: 0-3 years

Background of the candidate :-

  • 0 -3 years of experience in research and operations, prior legal research background is preferred.
  • Experience of using multiple databases for research like Lexis Nexis , Bloomberg, Westlaw and Docket Alarm would be preferred
  • Proven ability to conduct open web secondary research- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Consulting background in domains like risk, advisory, operations, process development or audit is preferred
  • Experience in managing operations, conducting online research, report writing and process development
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Demonstrable leadership, team management and crisis handling abilities
  • Good language, communication and writing skills in English
  • Good understanding and / or experience in managing social media, SEO, online and digital marketing
  • Expertise in using tools like MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Must be an avid reader, with the experience of reading across genres, types, styles etc. over many years
  • MBA or Equivalent Business Degree in Law from a reputed university

  • Manage multiple priorities, engagements, interactions and client relationships at any given time
  • Exposure to data collection, synthesis and analysis
  • Should be comfortable working with multi-dimensional data
  • Ensure adherence of team or resources to company guidelines, best practices and standards on an ongoing basis
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives for current, future or ongoing initiatives
  • Insightfully contribute in process optimization
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
