Job Role: Wed Designer
Location: Bangalore
PQE: 2+ years
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating original, user-centered web pages based on a clear understanding of our business requirements.
- Translating the marketing team’s requirements into comprehensive style guides, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces
- Designing attractive and interactable UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems and providing solutions on how to address them (e.g., responsiveness, bounce rate)
- Collaborating effectively with all teams to ensure web development proceeds at an optimal pace
- Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into web design in order to enhance user experience
- Make the site’s content SEO-friendly in collaboration with our SEO and editorial teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in web design, multimedia design, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in planning and developing websites across multiple products and organizations
- Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles, and web user interface design (UI)
- Proficiency with our content management system i.e., WordPress and well-versed with Google Analytics
- Dedication to innovative, sophisticated designs and collaborative problem solving
- A friendly and responsive attitude, with good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of the legal sector
- Proven success in a project coordination role
- Based in Bangalore or Chennai
