Job Role: Application Specialist- QuickBase
PQE: 6-8 years
1. Internal Application Administration and Support:
o Act as single point of contact for applications support/development/enhancement and maintenance.
o Provide administrative support for all internal applications
o This includes user management as well as application security management.
o Manage and maintain change request for internal applications.
o Use and support database applications and analytical tools.
o Maintain record keeping logs and up to-date documentation.
2. Application development, Operational Data Management and Support:
o Collaborate with operations and functional teams, across locations, for analysing requirements, evaluating available options, and creating standardized, effective, and efficient solutions.
o Help build workflows in collaboration with internal teams, to ensure data capture at source applications.
o Automate workflows by building applications and deploying them to users.
o Support internal users through development of programs and processes for capturing, analysing, and presenting data.
o Assist in data mining, data cleansing and data extraction.
o Support internal users in methods to collect, organize, display and report data using internal tools.
o Support ad-hoc reporting requirements as well as ensure timely delivery of scheduled reports to management and functional teams.
o Manage data and record keeping, specific to end of period activities such as timesheet aggregation, invoicing, database archival.
o Develop application scripts/tools to support enterprise wide, business intelligence and analytics.
o Create comprehensive documentation for all the above.
3. Support for Delivery Teams/Projects/Functions
o Create customized delivery templates and assist in automation of processes using the existing cloud application platform.
o Create standard workflow trackers for project teams using the existing technology platform and refine as per specifications provided by Project Managers.
o Work closely with project team in quickly troubleshooting and fixing the identified issues with existing application.
o Provide application support for projects to meet key delivery timelines.
o Work closely with delivery team to understand business requirements, produce necessary documentation and work along with the team on the development aspects.
The ideal candidate is required to have the following skillsets.
o Experience in business user engagement, requirement gathering.
o Cloud application development/maintenance using QuickBase, QuickBase API and Pipelines (Mandatory) or Cloud CRM/Zoho/Force.com application builder (knowledgeable)
o Working knowledge of html, java, Java scripting, python, php is mandatory
o Application development using Java/Dot Net/Asp.net (Optional)
o Databases Understanding – MySQL, MS SQL Server 16 onwards
o Experience in integrating Reporting and Analytics tools such as MSBI – SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, Qlik is an add-on
o API development using rest API using or experience in cloud integration platforms such as Workatoetc. is a plus
Education & Experience:
o A bachelor’s/Master’s degree in information systems or in business administration with core concentration in application development and information systems management.
o 6-8 years’ experience in analyst role such as team lead, project lead, cloud application development/architect including application maintenance and support related activities.
o Ability to work in challenging environment and adopt to new technologies.
o Working knowledge of cloud application development/support and Integration.
o Strong relationship builder who develops and maintains relationships with internal clients.
o Strong logical, analytical & problem-solving skills – lateral thinker with the ability to investigate the source of a problem across several different systems as required.
o Fluency in English, in both written and oral/verbal expression.
