Role Requirements
- University degree
- Total 6-7 years of experience in the areas of software engineering and/or legal technology
- Knowledge of Contract Express or other document automation programs, and/or demonstrable experience of using tools and systems to support business processes
- Experience using project management tools like Trello
- Should be an effective communicator with good presentation skills
- You will have a keen interest in learning; including learning more about learning technology and automation
- Software engineering experience or skills (especially Contract Express) would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Engineer with experience in .net technology and VBA would be preferred
- Experience with legal technology would be preferred
- Docusign CLM specialist
- You are motivated to solve problems for people and do so with tolerance, patience, and empathy.
- You like working as part of a team and can collaborate effectively.
- You have good communication skills and can communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Role Responsibilities
- Create legal technology solutions from design through to build, testing, and deployment
- Work with internal customers to gather, refine and document business requirements
- Participate in workshops with internal customers, capturing business requirements and designing functional solutions to legal business problems
- Design contract automation solutions in the form of business process flows, variables tables, automation mark-ups etc
- Ensure that the agreed deliverables and functional requirements are delivered to the client
- Produce and sign off on testing plans – QAT and UAT – and delivering demos to internal customers and supporting with UAT
- Prepare project estimates
- Have the ability to work to challenging deadlines
- Prepare technical documentation
- Review work for sound technical judgment and overall adequacy
- Train staff on Contract Express as required
