Job Role: Managing Director (India)- CLM Contract Central

PQE: 10+ years

Specifically, a Managing Director Legal will:-

  • Lead and manage, develop, and grow a virtual, global, and diverse contracts team.
  • Serve as a legal escalation point to resolve issues and create acceptable alternatives in the contracting process.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and coordinate with customer subject matter experts to resolve lingering contract issues.
  • Update, harmonize or develop contract templates, negotiation playbooks, guidelines, and other contract infrastructure tools.
  • Create contracting process improvements, knowledge management and data capture, commoditizing repeatable work, and developing lower cost resource capabilities.
  • Build training and mentoring programs focused on identifying and bridging skill gaps of team members.
  • Contribute and influence design of customer solutions, staffing and execution of those solutions.
  • Support sales for new managed contract services engagements, including RFP responses, proposals, pricing staffing, and project implementation.

Experience

  • 10+ years experience with commercial contracting, emphasizing contract process execution, implementation and process improvement.
  • 5+ years experience managing people and teams, including attorneys and legal specialists in other geographic regions.
  • 5+ years working directly with customers and understanding customer needs.
  • Experience with contracting process tools and infrastructure, workflow management, and metrics.
  • Project management experience.
